Adored

Background Photo: Adored Boutique

Adored. Here are a few definitions I found: Love and respect (someone) deeply. Love dearly. Be devoted to. Dote on. Hold dear. Cherish. Treasure. Prize. Think the world of. Hold in high regard. Put on a pedestal.

What do you adore?

Do you feel adored?

It is hard to wrap my mind around the fact that God adores me. I feel uncomfortable even typing it for some reason. But why else would He send His son to die on a cross for me? For you? There is no other explanation than we are adored by Him.

He loves us dearly.

He is devoted to us, patiently waiting for us to come to Him.

He dotes on us with gifts, and talents, and His presence.

He cherishes time with us.

We are a prize who He is eager to place a crown of life upon our heads.

He thinks the world of us. He breathed life into existence for us.

He holds us in high regard. We are His daughters and sons. Heirs to His kingdom. Worthy.

He puts us on a pedestal, using us to do His work here on earth. He could choose any method. He chose us.

When you start to let the lies creep in and feel worthless, less than, insignificant, unqualified…remember, YOU ARE ADORED!

It’s a renewal of our minds (Romans 12:2)…not solely to refocus on God, but to also refocus on how God sees us.

Adored. Worth dying for.
