A tiny stitch of one strand -- one single color -- of thread seems so purposeless.
Seems to far from anything recognizable or beautiful.
Sometimes my eyes can get so focused on what my brain tells me is insignificant. Meaningless. Mundane. Ordinary. Worthless.
But God's eyes see wider and clearer.
God sees the elaborate tapestry being woven stitch by stitch.
Strand by strand.
By my stitches and the others threading around me.
As i weave through my day, let me diligently and purposefully craft each small stitch.
But let me also take moments to stop and look beyond the single stitch.
God, let me have eyes to see the gorgeous work You are doing.
