Do you ever feel like it is nearly impossible to go? Everything is quiet here. Safe here. Peaceful here.
But we know our purpose and calling isn’t tied to safe and comfortable and the known.
It's scary out there, no doubt. But God in His goodness and creativity and love is working behind the scenes.
This portion of Esther 4:14 is often quoted, but look at the entire verse…
For if you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance will rise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father's house will perish. And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”
Yes, we can remain silent. And God will still provide relief and deliverance [or the things YOU specifically were called to step into] through another vehicle or person.
What will happen will happen.
But we won’t be part of it and we will miss out on the beautiful.
In our fear, or even in our going…but going our stubborn way, we miss out.
Oh, how we don't want to miss the divine collision of our unique gifts and God's perfectly orchestrated timing, bursting forth something extraordinary.
For such a time as this!
It's worth getting out of bed for. It’s worth giving God’s way a chance. It’s worth facing our fears for.
Let's do this!
