Personally those words terrify me.
Why do I always think i have to be perfectly prepared, perfectly trained, perfectly equipped, and the timing perfect to say, “Here I am. Send me.”
During church today, I felt God say, “Just start messy and unprepared. Improvement will never come if starting never comes.”
I think God joyfully hangs out with the messy and unprepared. Preparation is certainly important, but I can easily turn it into paralysis.
God isn’t looking for perfect execution; He is looking for obedience. .
